How to Register your Domain Name ?

Basic Steps
First check the availability of your domain from the search provided below.Sele ct the appropriate Top Level Domain you are interested in (.com, .net, .org )

1. Enter your desired domain name in the text box without www as prefix
2. Choose an extension (.com, .net, .org)
3. Simply click on Search >>

If the Domain Name is available then kindly inform us know and we shall complete the registration process for you or your client.

On sending us the Domain Name registration information, you shall get a confirmation e-mail first for the receipt of the acknowlegdement of your mail mentioning the details sent across by you and second for the sucessful registration of the same.

If the domain name is already booked by someone else then any two of the following error messages could be flashed on the screen. One is when the domain is already registered in someone else's name and the other is, when it is entered in our system i.e. it is booked in our system by someone.

If the domain is registered by someone else
Domain Name in Use
Sorry, the domain anydomain.com is already taken. The domain name anydomain.com is in use by another company or individual. You cannot register this domain. Please click here to choose another domain.

If the domain is booked by someone else
This Domain anydomain.com is already selected by someone and is in the process of Registering. Please come back to book the domain after few days if it is available then. Choose your payment option while filling up the form. You have the option to pay by Bankers Cheque / Cash / Cheque / Draft.

If you choose to pay by Bankers Cheque /Cheque/Draft you will receive an e-mail containing the mentioned information. A sample of the e-mail is given below. This e-mail does NOT mean that your domain has been registered, it merely confirms your order. If you choose to pay by Cheque/Draft you will have to send a DD or cheque of the required amount.

Behind the cheque you are required to mention your order ID and the Domain/s you have booked against each order ID. If these are omitted NO registration will occur.

After you have paid for your domain, you will receive another e-mail within 48 hours saying that your domain has been registered.

When the domain name is registered -

The domain you requested anydomain.com is Registered Successfully for 1 year(s). Please note that it will take a maximum of 36 hrs. to show up in WHOIS lookup at www.networksolutions.com.
